So, I'm considering doing a modified Whole30 Challenge. Basically I want to challenge myself to eliminate any and all "cheats" for 30 days. That means no sugar, no grains, no wheat for 30 days. No treats once a week. It also means only weighing myself at the beginning and at the end of the 30 days. I think I weigh myself too often right now. I mean, I'm part of a weight loss challenge right now that requires weekly weigh ins but I wasn't planning on entering the next round so I wouldn't have to weigh in each week.
I want to challenge myself to stick with eating the way I want to eat and the way I feel works for my body. I plan to start this Friday, November 23rd and go until December 23rd. That's just before Christmas but goes all through the holiday season. That means there will be all kinds of temptations, especially at our office. People and companies always send in chocolates, etc. as well as people bake things and bring them in. I'm usually one of the guilty parties there but I can certainly resist this year.
I'm also going to challenge myself to work out at the minimum of 3 times a week. Right now I'm at twice a week but I need to do more. I also need to find a workout routine that includes weights. I'll be researching it shortly!
PS Winter disappeared here as fast as it came. :( The snow from my last post is gone and it's been raining here almost every day. For the first time ever, I really want snow and we don't have any. Boo!
